The Lemming's last post didn't sound very apathetic. What gives?
I explained, back in 2007, that I called myself the "Apathetic Lemming of the North" because I didn't (and don't) care about the 'correct' things: and haven't followed Timothy Leary's advice. This is one of those cases where I have strong opinions, from a countercultural point of view.
"Counterculture" doesn't necessarily mean what you'd think: "counterculture...a culture with lifestyles and values opposed to those of the established culture...." (Princeton's WordNet). And yes, the flower power people were countercultural too: in a different way.
