"Forum editorial: A great day for Fargo Marathon"
In-Forum (May 16, 2008)
"A warm (at long last) spring welcome to the thousands of runners and their fans who are in the city for Saturday’s Fargo Marathon. The several divisions in the event have attracted some 12,000 runners. City officials estimate 25,000 people will be in town (many are here already) because of the marathon.
"The event started modestly a few years ago. At the time, there was some doubt that Fargo’s run could become a destination event for serious marathoners. That doubt was pretty much dispelled by the second year, when numbers swelled and interest escalated. The growth of the local event has been nothing short of spectacular. ..."
The event has its own website: The Fargo Marathon. The slogan this year is "Go Far! in 2008."
There isn't anything there yet, buy my guess is that WDAY News will cover tomorrow's event (May 17, 2008). (That's a Fargo television station.)

Today's News! Some of it, anyway
Actually, some of yesterday's news may be here. Or maybe last week's.
The software and science stuff might still be interesting, though. Or not.
