Late 17th Century Clothing

Nicole Kipar's Late 17th Century Clothing History

I found this website while looking up European clothing of the 17th century. It's visually impressive, and - after a little nosing around - I found a pretty good set of written resources on clothing of the period, and how it developed.

You probably won't visit this website for the same reasons that you check in at Dilbert or The Weather Channel, but if you're doing costume design for a period piece, or writing a story set in the court of the Sun King, you might find it worth studying.

In my case, The Lemming was just curious.
