"BIRD SUET CAKE RECIPES ~ The Easy Way!!"
Wild About Wild Life (October 16, 2009)
"For those of you getting ready for winter and wanting to try your hand at 'home made' suet, here are some recipes that you may want to put together that would we yer local birdies whistle. As mentioned in the other article, birds love suet and it provides some good energy during those cold, winter months. Enjoy yourself as you put these together and make good suet like 'mom used to make'...."
There are two recipes in this post: one of which has nutritional information. That impressed me.
Also impressive was the fact that, in my opinion, the recipes were both relatively easy. Which you'd expect from the title - but we've all seen posts and articles with a severe disconnect between the title and the contents.
I doubt that I'll be making my own suet cakes any time soon, but it's nice to know that there are relatively simple ways of fixing them.
A tip of the hat to duncraft, on Twitter, for the heads-up on this post.

Today's News! Some of it, anyway
Actually, some of yesterday's news may be here. Or maybe last week's.
The software and science stuff might still be interesting, though. Or not.
