Bubble-Blowing Belugas Juggle in Japan

"Pictured: The beluga whale that blows bubbles and juggles"
Mail Online (UK) (July 28, 2008)

"Like children blowing little bubbles through rings, these beluga whales are astounding onlookers by learning to blow bubbles of air underwater.

"The whales have delighted thousands of visitors since being taught the impressive trick by scuba divers in a pool.

"They are given a breath from the diver's regulator to give them enough air to blow the big bubbles...."

"...The act also includes juggling balls, twisting around and swimming through hoops at the Aquas aquarium in Hamada, 700km (434 miles) south-west of Tokyo...."

There's more about the belugas at Hamada, and more photos like this:

Actually, some of yesterday's news may be here. Or maybe last week's.
The software and science stuff might still be interesting, though. Or not.
The Lemming thinks it's interesting: Your experience may vary.
