"Glossary of Fireworks Terms"
The Fireworks Alliance
Do you lie awake nights, worried that you may be asked to explain the difference between a silver salute and an ash can? Are you embarrassed to admit that you don't know what a tourbillion is?
Probably not.
On the other hand, you might like to learn a little about fireworks whose name you know - and maybe learn what the displays you've seen are called. That's where this glossary comes in.
The Fireworks Alliance put together a pretty good list of fireworks terms, from Aerial to Willow: with a short description of each term. And, sometimes, a little history: like the banning of ash cans in the sixties.

Today's News! Some of it, anyway
Actually, some of yesterday's news may be here. Or maybe last week's.
The software and science stuff might still be interesting, though. Or not.
The Lemming thinks it's interesting: Your experience may vary.
