Monkey, Cat, Norwegian, Hands, and the Lemming

"Norwegian Bokmal vocabulary :: Animal"
Basic vocabulary, Dicts.info

A Norwegian (Bokmal, at any rate (Bokmål, if your system's got the right character set)) word for "monkey" is "apekatt."

Which means just what it looks like it means. Someone, asked about the wisdom of having a monkey as a pet, was told: 'think of a cat, with hands.'

Oh, boy: the Lemming likes languages. Also monkeys. And cats.
