Cute: Strange, but Cute

"Two new red-ruffed lemurs were born at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay last month, and that can only mean one thing: It’s time to play everybody's favorite party game, 'Guess When The Photo Session Went Horribly Wrong.'..."

There's another photo, with rollover text, and a fourth that's a sort of punch line to the post.

Actually, I think those little red-ruffed lemurs are cute. In a sort of eldritch nightmare way. The day-glo blue faces with yellow-green eyes are certainly - distinctive.

And - did you notice? They have hands. And odd-looking nails. Or are they claws?

And those eyes - does the creature ever blink? Can it blink?

Where are these things from?!
