Map of Humanity: World of Concepts, People, and Imaginary Places as Geography

Joey deVilla’s Personal Blog (undated, probably September, 2007)

As a rule, I don't do these graphics-as-a-Web-page things. But, in this case I'll make another exception ("Look at This Duck! A Giraffe and a Duck" (June 5, 2009)).

The (island? continent?) of Wisdom has some of my favorite names from on the map: the Beethoven Range, Narnia, The Shire, and the Land of Oz.

Somebody put a lot of work into creating this map: and I couldn't find anything about its origins.

Quite an impressive bit of graphic art.
