A few minutes ago, the Lemming watched New York City's Times Square and the New Year's Eve party going on there. The folks there seemed to be having a good time.
And the Lemming thinks it's just about as much fun to watch, from a distance of about 1,000 miles: and a whole lot less tiring. It may be noteworthy that the Times Square crowd seemed to a relatively youthful bunch: mostly from late teens to thirty-something.
"Youthful," of course, being a relative term. By now, from the Lemming's point of view, quite a few folks look like "kids."
New posts are on the way: most likely starting tomorrow morning.
Or, rather, later this morning.
Happy New Year!

Today's News! Some of it, anyway
Actually, some of yesterday's news may be here. Or maybe last week's.
The software and science stuff might still be interesting, though. Or not.
The Lemming thinks it's interesting: Your experience may vary.
