This post has good, common-sense, suggestions - but you'll have to translate some of it into your budget. For example: "...Hiring a window cleaning professional is great for the busy professionals. It isn't costly...." It probably isn't costly for people with mid-range six-figure incomes: no problems there. At my end of the spectrum, we use the garden hose, full city water pressure, and a thumb over the end of the hose.
