Nine Staircases

"9 creative staircases" (Deputy Dog (November 5, 2007)) may be an understatement.

There are stairs that are

• Practical (under-tread space used for storage)
• Fun (walk up, slide down)
• Artistic (staircases that are more sculptures than architectural features)

There's quite a story about number 9. Maybe I'll get around to that someday. (Until then, the 9th staircase includes a "many mysteries" link that tells the story from a determinedly secular point of view.)
