Palavering About Palaver

Palaver means:

    • Flattery intended to persuade
    • Loud and confused and empty talk

    • Speak (about unimportant matters) rapidly and incessantly
    • Influence or urge by gentle urging, caressing, or flattering
    • Have a lengthy discussion, usually between people of different backgrounds
