Several folks opined that it was a plush toy - or a rabbit with fake cat ears - or a photo montage - or something else. Me? I think it looks cute. Whether it's a strange rabbit, odd cat, some sort of animal cyborg optimized for "cute" - I'll be content to say 'it's cute,' and leave it at that.
