A "Star Trekin' " (The Firm) Christmas Display

"26,200 LED Christmas Lights Dance To Star Trekin' Star Trek"

"This is our LauderdaleChristmas.com 26,200 holiday lights display with 80 channels from 5 computerized lighting controllers. You import an MP3 off your CD, and using software, you act...."

People who are terribly, terribly serious about either Star Trek or Christmas should not - I repeat, not - view this video.

The rest of us are in for a treat.

The sound track is "Star Trekin' " by The Firm (1987): a funny (my opinion) musical compilation of Star Trek (original series) lines, plus "we come in peace, shoot to kill" - which wasn't, as far as I can remember, a line from the series. On the other hand, Captain Kirk did have a rather direct, practical approach to diplomacy.

I enjoyed the coordination(?) between music and visual displays: for example, keep an eye on the inflatable merry-go-round. Your experience may vary.
