Whipper was abandoned at birth, the video says, because of the way he looked. From the parakeet's point of view, I think I can see why. Happily, Whipper's human owner doesn't mind having a - thing - that has long green tendrils where most of it's feathers should be.

Actually, I think Whipper is rather attractive, in a not-from-this-planet sort of way.
