And, so it does.

The spotlight post is "Gallagher at The Stress Factory" (June 23, 2008). ("...Gallagher doesn’t use an opening act. He wanders through the crowd handing out Hershey’s miniatures and posing for photos with fans. When he gets on stage, he’s tossing out oranges within minutes and batting them back with an aluminum bat from the audience’s pitching staff...."

This is a far cry from my "Sauk Centre Journal," but the basic idea's the same: add something unique to the Web, with your own look at a community.
