"Green Building at Stanford Just As Smart As People It Houses" How to Change the World (March 1, 2008)
The title's claim may be an exaggeration, but it's an impressive building. The technologies include photo-voltaic solar panels, different types of windows for different walls, internal water recycling (you may not want to think too long about that), and a smart atrium.
This is smart design.
