This video records a succession of standing waves - made visible by sprinkling a white granular substance on a square black sheet.

Listen to the tone - the 'musical note' that the sound is at, each time a new pattern of standing waves emerges. The Lemming thinks there could be a new art form here.

Meanwhile, it's fun to watch: certainly more entertaining than watching linoleum curl.
